[SOLVED] Problems with sound HP Probook 4540S High Sierra 10.13.6

Hello, I installed High Sierra 10.13.6. on the HP Probook 4540S, on this guide https://www.hackintosh-montreal.com/t7561-hp-probook-elitebook-macos#111795
After I set everything up, I restarted and checked that everything worked except for the sound. How can I solve this problem? Thank you.

EFI folder Good afternoon, I hope correctly understood you, and copied the EFI folder from the bootloader Clover. Since I only have one EFI partition mounted that created Clover

This is strange it seem AppleALC not working for you, so remove AppleALC.kext on 10.13 folder

and you can make Audio working by using this programm

Well, I'll try to install thanks for the help. By the way, I think maybe I should reinstall the system? Maybe I made a mistake somewhere when I did something.

New EFI I reinstalled the system and made anew adjustment. But the sound did not appear, on probyval through Voodoohda everything works perfectly. I would like to find out why applealc does not work, I attached screenshots and a new EFI

You can try AppleALC  1.2.7 attaching here

Other think is I recommande strongly buying a SSD, The Hitachi HD  is to Slowly for new macOS
change the Hitachi HDD for a SSD 260 Gig HP S700 Pro

I see your EFI you have put kext in Other why ?
NOT NEED DUPLICATED KEXT this is conflict , so used only file from HP ProBook EliteBook

Dont mix other think from other SITE

Thanks for the correct kext. Audio has earned. As for the Other folder in EFI, I did not go there, it was all done by the HP ProBook EliteBook. I understand you can remove the kext from the folder Other?

I deleted the kext from the Other folder, and now the system does not start hang here at this stage.

So you have remove this kext is mandatory for booting


Dont try other things from other site with HP ProBook EliteBook

Complet a fresh install and I can help you to fix any issue if you have it

change for AppleALC.kext (1.2.7 ) attaching here

Change config.plist attaching here, all fix and its a MacBook Pro system definition
But this is not completely ride of Graphics Boot glitch ,
its impossible to completely ride graphics boot glitch Intel HD 4000 on High Sierra or Mojave
