Can you please explain UEFI – ESP – LEGACY ???

How I will know for my configuration what I should choose as Option ?

I have an ASUS P5KPL AM/PS running OS X Mavericks by myHack.

I think this method of Clover should work on my motherboard. I have an INTEL Core 2 Duo Processor and Nvidia GT 9400 Graphic Card.

Please explain it clear. What is the meaning of UEFI – ESP – LEGACY? For which type of hardware what should be chosen?

I tried Legacy following your tutorial, because i guess UEFI is for new motherboard with the new UEFI Bios.

It loads the OS X Yosemite installer, but then restart the PC on loading…

Hi, you must install Clover with Legacy. Go to the search zone for more details...

you need to change  inside  config.plist on EFI / CLOVER

one of my hack is working with a ASUS P5KPL-AM-EPU
so you can install YOSEMITE  in LEGACY  on your mother board with CLOVER
i do it this morning , it's working fine
but you must get a SSD hard disk , only because the time to boot is very long (1mn )
i attach the config.plist that you need to boot without any problem
and you can see the screen capture of the result
just a detail , when your install w'll be finish
rename your HDD " Macintosh HD " , CLOVER BOOTLOADER w'll disappear in 2 SECONDS

have fun
